RASAEE,
Afsaneh:
Born in
Tehran. Graduated in Psychology. Passed the early stages of Persian
Music and Vocal style under his father's supervision and completed
her stdies under the guidance of late Mahmoud Karimi.
and Mohammad Reza Shajarian. In 1989, Rasaee joined
the Ham Avayan Ensemble and collaborated with
Hossein Alizadeh in numerous recordings and concerts.
BIABANI, Hoorshid:
Born in
1951 (Rasht, Iran), studied music, radif and Persian traditional
singing style under the guidance of late Mahmoud Karimi
since 1966. During her stay in Sweden, she performed Iranian Vocal
Music repertoires across Europe and had also some experiences with
Swedish musicians and vocalists.
MARKARYAN, Vazgen:
Born in
Yerevan (1955),
learned to play the Duduk under the guidance of his present Master
Jivan Gasparyan. He teaches at the Yerevan Conservatoire and
accompanies his master in concerts and recordings.
BOUSTAN, Ali:
Born in
Tehran (1969), started playing the Setar at the age of 14 by Moha mmad
Firouzi and studied the theories of Iranian Music under the
supervision of Mohammad Reza Lotfi , Parviz Meshkatian and
Ahmad Ebadi. He continued his advance level studies in playing Setar with Hossein Alizadeh assisted him
in recordings and live performances.

GHAZARYAN, Armen:
Born in
Yerevan (1969),
learned to play the Duduk under the guidance of his present Master
Jivan Gasparyan. He teaches at the Yerevan Conservatoire and
accompanies his master in concerts and recordings.
SAMADPOUR, Ali:
Born in
1970, has been graduated in Persian literature from the Tehran
University. He studied music and tar under the guidance of Jahanshah
Saremi, Siamak N e’mat Nasser, Houshang Zarif and afterwards with
Hossein
Alizadeh and Dariush Talaee.
He plays percussions and sings in persian traditional style.
Ali has participated in most of Hossein Alizadeh’s
concerts and recordings and is a key figure of the Ham Avayan
Ensemble.
EBRAHIMI,
Mohammadeza:
Mohammad
Reza Ebrahimi (1971)
learned to play the Tar under the guidance of Majid Derakhsh ani,
Arshad Tahmassebi, Mohammadreza Lotfi and Hossein Alizadeh. He learned the art of Oud
by himself and
is teaching at the Tehran Conservatory of music.
MIRZAEE, Behzad:
Born in
1977 (Tehran), studied Indusrial Des ign. Learning the Santur was
Behzad's first step to get closer to Iranian Traditional Music. Soon
he found his passion for the Tombak and under the guidance of late
Dariush Zargari and Morteza Momtaz he
started to learn playing the most important percussive instrument of
Iranian Music.
AHADI, M ohammadali:
Born
in Ardebil (1971). Started to learn the radif and iranian vocal
techniques since 1991 with late Sarvestani. He
was one of the members of Hossein Alizadeh's Ham Avayan
Ensemble during their concert with Jivan Gasparyan in
September 2003.
