REZAI, Christophe: 

    Born in Toulouse, France (1966). He studied in music (theory, Piano and vocal ) alongside his college education in hydraulic engineering and marketing. As a composer, he has written the scores of a number of French and Iranian films and documentaries.
   A Tenor himself, he founded the "Aria Musica" group (with Reza Asgarzadeh) staging numerous concerts in Iran and India. He further established the "Nour" ensemble, the repertoire which consists of medieval, Baroque, Kurdish and Iranian Vocal music. The "Nour" ensemble has performed in a documentary produced by Arte in 2002 and held also concerts in Paris and Tehran. In summer 2004, the second musical documentary of the Nour has been filmed in Firouzabad (at the Babakan Castle), The arrangement of the album "Journey" (2001, Hermes Records) is also among his other musical activities.
   In 2003, Rezai
 won the first prize of the Avignon Film Festival for best Film Music. Meanwhile he is more concentrated on making Film Music and developing the Nour Ensemble. He acts also as the artistic director of the newly established Noban String Ensemble.
